Single Sign-On (SSO) for Elafent

SAML SSO authentication and provisioning is available in the Elafent Cloud Platform (ECP) at an organisational level. When an organisation is configured to use SAML v2.0 as their Authentication Strategy, they will not be able to sign in with a username and password but will be redirected to a SAML Identity Provider (IdP) who the user must authenticate with.

Once the user authenticates with the IdP, it will forward their user credentials to the Elafent app by redirecting the user back it. If SAML provisioning is also enabled, the users will be created through SAML on the first sign in attempt if the user did not exist in Elafent beforehand.
